UEFA European Under-17 Championship 2018: England Hosts the Future Stars of Football

The UEFA European Under-17 Championship 2018 is taking place in England for the first time ever, with venues across the Midlands and South Yorkshire hosting matches from May 4-20. The Final will be played at Rotherham United on Sunday, May 20, and tickets are available for purchase on the FA website starting from just £2 for children and £4 for adults.

Wayne Rooney Draws the Tournament: 16 Teams Set to Compete in the UEFA European Under-17 Championship 2018, Including Defending Champions Spain and Host Nation England's Young Lions

The draw for the tournament was made by England’s record goalscorer and tournament ambassador Wayne Rooney, along with UEFA’s Youth & Amateur Football Committee Chairman John Delaney. The Young Lions are automatically qualified for the Finals, and will be joined by 15 other teams from across Europe, including defending champions Spain, Germany, Portugal, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, and Belgium.

Fans of all ages can enjoy Europe’s future stars at affordable prices, with tickets for all matches on sale now. Matches taking place at Rotherham’s New York Stadium include Bosnia & Herzegovina vs. Belgium on Tuesday, May 8 at 7pm, England vs. Switzerland on Thursday, May 10 at 7pm, and the Quarter-final on Sunday, May 13 at 2pm. The Semi-final will be held on Thursday, May 17 at 1pm, and the Final will take place on Sunday, May 20 at 6pm. Kick-off times are subject to change.
