Please note the following:
(a) Your time starts to run from the moment your Vehicle enters the Car-Park and NOT from when you pay – so make note of the expiry time to avoid any doubt.
(b) If you decide not to park, you will incur no PCN provided that your Vehicle exits the Car-Park within 10 minutes of entering.
Make sure that you enter the full & correct number plate details.
Your Vehicle must have exited the Car-Park on/before your stated expiry time, otherwise, you will incur a PCN.
If, however, you have stayed for longer than the period you purchased, you can top-up by paying for more time (thereby avoiding a PCN) so long as you do so BEFORE your Vehicle exits the Car-Park.
Please note that the car parking at Percy Street, Rotherham, is managed by Smart Parking LTD. All motorists entering the car park agree to adhere to the advertised Terms and Conditions, these can be found detailed on the signage situated within the car parking area. The parking regimen includes an ANPR (automatic number plate recognition cameras), linked with payment machine. Please note, the time is calculated from the point of entry to the point of exit by ANPR. Please be advised that if you fail to comply with these terms, you may be issued with a Parking Charge Notice.
Should you wish to contest a Parking Charge Notice issued at Percy Street, please follow the appeals procedure which is detailed on the original correspondence. All appeals must be submitted to Smart Parking via the postal service, or online. For further information, please visit https://www.smartparking.com/. Further, you must submit an appeal within 28 days of the notice being issued. If the appeal is received within 14 days, the charge will be placed on hold at the initial discounted rate. Please note, it can take up to 35 days from the date the appeal is received for an outcome to be sent.
